GRC New York

GRC was founded in 1975 by Dick Spera who believed that if you provide customers with outstanding service and fair rates you would develop a loyal following. He was right. Thousands upon thousands of clients later, GRC continues to provide excellence in the field of refining.

Our analytical division began as a simple fire assay office for the refinery. We expanded our lab to offer a variety of services to the trade including fire assay for precious metals, determination of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium in sweeps, bullions, and solutions. Over 35 years later, we are proud of our reputation for excellence. Our facility located in Long Island, NY serves a diverse clientele with precious metal refining needs.

We process high-grade polishings, bullion, and other high yielding materials to a finished product…and we invite you to watch the process! You are always welcome to visit our facility to watch your material being processed and sampled.

Experienced. Accurate. Honest.

In a volatile metals market, time is always of the essence when it comes to selling. At General Refining Corporation, we’ve designed our refining process to provide accurate and rapid results without sacrificing quality or value.

For more than 35 years we have been one of the nation’s most respected precious metals specialists providing recovery and refining services for gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, diamonds and other gemstones for the jewelry trade.

We have never lost sight of this concept. From the minute you engage us we view our relationship as a partnership. Your business is vital to GRC’s future so you’re treated as a member of our family.

As the Director of Sales for GRC, feel free to contact me directly for any reason. I have always wanted all our clients to feel comfortable with all phases of the refining process. If I can assist you with anything, please let me know.
